THE OVERALL GOAL OF THE PROJECT IS TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL ENERGY OFFSETS, ENERGY SAVINGS AND INCREASE SUSTAINABILITY FOR THE JUSTICE CENTER FACILITY IN CARLTON COUNTY, THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY, AND THE STATE OF MINNESOTA. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, THE PROJECT OBJECTIVE IS TO INSTALL A GROUND MOUNT SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC (PV) SYSTEM AT THE NEW CARLTON COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER TO OFFSET THE MAJORITY OF THE ELECTRICAL LOAD BASED ON THE CURRENT BUILDING CONSUMPTION. THIS PROJECT FOCUSES ON DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT AT ONE COUNTY BUILDING, THE NEW JUSTICE CENTER.
