What we collect and why.

This is a draft. It needs legal review before it takes effect. What is required changes with the jurisdictions served and whether the service is B2B or B2C.
What we collect
- Email address — for the weekly report and the pilot enquiry form
- Optionally: company or fund name, investment themes, stage, geography, check size, companies you watch, and notes
- The user-agent string at sign-up, truncated to 300 characters, to identify abusive registrations
- Page views and clicks on CTAs and primary-record links. No cookies are used for this
We do not collect names, phone numbers, postal addresses or card details. If payment opens, card data is handled by the payment processor (Stripe) and never stored on our servers.
How it is used
- Sending the weekly report
- Producing the report filtered to your criteria, if you provided them
- Replying to pilot enquiries
- Understanding where readers drop off, to improve the service
We do not sell registration data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
We use the following providers only as far as running the service requires.
- Supabase — database; stores registration data
- Resend — email delivery
- Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics
- Stripe — payments, only if and when payment opens
Retention and deletion
Unsubscribing stops the reports. If you want the underlying record deleted as well, write to us; we will delete it and confirm when it is done.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works at any time.
