1. What the service is
Larmedias is an information service that continuously collects and organises US federal contract and grant transaction records (USAspending) and filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC EDGAR Form D), and presents weekly how capital moved in emerging technology.
The free tier (Capital Flow Weekly) covers the market as a whole. The paid tier (Mandate Pilot) selects up to seven candidates a week matching criteria you supply, with the reason for each selection and the primary record.
This is not a news publication. The earlier version of these terms described a service that summarised and categorised science and technology articles; that is no longer what is provided.
2. This is not investment advice
The service organises publicly available primary records. It does not recommend investing in any particular company and guarantees no outcome.
Any index published here (such as LCI) is an unvalidated classification model and must not be used as the basis for an investment decision. Decisions and their consequences remain yours.
3. Accuracy of the data
Figures are pulled automatically from US government and SEC records. Some have not been checked by a person, and each row shows its review status. We do not warrant that the data is complete or accurate.
Every figure links to its primary record. If you find a discrepancy, tell us. When we correct something, what changed and when is recorded on the methodology page rather than silently replaced.
Publication lags at the source (roughly three months for the Department of Defense) and sources not yet ingested are documented on the methodology page.
4. Contract and pricing
The paid tier (Mandate Pilot) is $500 per month in USD. Monthly, auto-renewing.
A paid engagement begins once the criteria, price and first delivery date are agreed and payment completes. Simply sending an enquiry costs nothing.
Tax: The $500 shown is the total. Nothing is added at billing.
Cancellation: Tell us before the day preceding the next billing date and it ends there.
Refunds: No pro-rata refunds. After you cancel, the issues you have already paid for still arrive until the period ends.
5. Limits of what is delivered
The paid tier delivers up to seven candidates. In a week without enough qualifying candidates we do not add weaker companies to fill the count — "nothing matched" is itself information and is reported as such.
Some criteria cannot be filtered on with the current data — funding stage and investment check size among them. We state which of your criteria are workable before delivery begins.
6. Intellectual property and sharing
The structure of the reports, the selection method and the written analysis belong to the service. The underlying government records and SEC filings are public information over which we claim nothing.
Reports may be shared inside the subscribing organisation, including quotation in investment committee materials. Redistribution or resale outside it requires prior agreement.
